We started with the harness
Most harnesses ask too much of you at exactly the wrong moment. Your dog is already spinning by the door and you are on the floor trying to thread a leg through a strap, find the second buckle, and work out which way round the thing goes. It is not you, and it is not him. It is the harness.
So we built the Powerharness to go over the head and close with one buckle. On in about five seconds, from a standing start, with one hand.
What is on it, and why
- Padded chest and back plates, so pressure spreads instead of digging into one strap.
- A top handle, for the moments you need to hold him still: a vet waiting room, a kerb, a loose dog coming the other way.
- A reflective band, because a lot of walks happen before sunrise and after sunset.
- A name patch, printed with your dog's name at no extra cost. If he ever gets loose, whoever finds him can call him by name.
It comes in eleven colours and six sizes.
